Conventions

Anime & Comic Conventions

I started attending Anime and Comic Conventions in 2013, a year after I began selling papercuts online. My first few set ups were pretty rough, as they usually are, but they’ve evolved to fit my needs really well. My convention line up for 2015 has two more cons in October before the holiday season hits, and I will be debuting a new set up that will allow for faster solitary events.

2014 Wizard World Tulsa Comic Con

November 2014

Tulsa Comic Con was the first comic convention for Wizard World in Oklahoma. It was a massive success, selling out the Friday and Saturday of the convention. I was nervous to attend my first huge comic convention, but we did amazing and the atmosphere was the best of any convention I’ve attended.

2014 Tokyo In Tulsa

July 2014

Tokyo in Tulsa was my first convention in Tulsa. I deviated from my set procedures for this convention and had a harder experience than usual, but I was able to completely narrow down what works for me and what doesn’t by my next conventions. I wasn’t able to apply in 2015, but I hope to try fort a table in 2016.
